frances chen's birthday!

this past weekend a bunch of frances chen's friends and i celebrated her birthday. to commemorate the occasion, we had some delicious froggie cupcakes.

before having the froggie cupcakes, we had to work up an appetite first. and what better way is there of working up an appetite than playing trampoline dodgeball?? trampoline dodgeball is exactly what it sounds like: two teams playing dodgeball on a network of trampolines. here are some pictures of us in action:

you can see those little kids next to frances having a quick strategy planning session. i believe they are deciding which one had to fake a throw at me and while the other beaned me in the head. because those kids are so small, they are a much harder target to hit! yes, that's my excuse.
